All hail Caesar! Calgary's most famous cocktail celebrates 40 years.

A tribute to a great drink.  Just in time for the long weekend.    Ask for a Caesar outside of Canada and the bartender might look at you like you're from another planet…. The uniquely Canadian concoction, invented 40 years ago in Calgary, may not be the most popular drink in the rest of the world, but every Canadian bartender worth his celery salt knows how to make one.   Today, Calgary's Westin Hotel will mark the 40th anniversary of the spicy beverage by unveiling a plaque touting it as the birthplace of the Caesar. The drink was invented by the late Walter Chell, a bartender at the Owl's Nest Bar in the Calgary Inn, now the Westin H/T to The Calgary Herald All hail Caesar!
