From Big Guy taking over... There he is interupting my nap to take my picture again. I REALLY hate being cute... So here's Big Guy just waking up after taking a nap in the bathroom sink. I don't know why he likes this - but it's quite comfortable, unless someone turns on the faucet. How'd I know he was doing this? Well - there I was in the kitchen, and I heard this snoring coming from the downstairs bathroom. Sure enough - he was in there sound asleep. And was not too pleased when I took his picture and interupted his nap...

One of the things I've never liked about Christmas is the cutting down of a perfectly healthy tree to be used as a decoration for three or four weeks. Well, the folks at HP.CA have come up with a great option, to wit: I'm sure the HP folks would love it if you printed it out on one of their machines - on the very expensive Photo paper they make, but good old 30lb recycled will do the job as well. A little heavy going - but definitely worth a look. This is one of the reasons it is so wearying to be president, because it involves the day-to-day processing of so much irrational projection of hatred and anxiety. I personally don’t know how President Bush puts up with it. All therapists know how difficult it is to deal with just one borderline patient in their practice, but it is as if a president must deal with the projections of fifty million or so difficult patients who are irrationally experiencing him as evil incarnate.... It is fascinating to note that the left is so out of touch with their fantasies about President Bush, that one constantly reads about how they imagine that he is fighting back in the most dangerous and extreme way -- that he doesn’t tolerate dissent, that he questions people’s patriotism, that he is destroying our civil rights, that he punishes ideological enemies.
