A little late for the Friday Funny - but I fried two external USB backup drives on Frudat and I've been re-building the entire office systems and printers to get the new machines on-line. Got this in the e-mails this morning - no attribution other than 'a peace keeping soldier stationed overseas.' The Night Before Christmas T'was the night before Christmas, He lived all alone, In a one bedroom house, Made of plaster and stone. I had come down the chimney, With presents to give, And to see just who, In this home did live. I looked all about, A strange sight I did see, No tinsel, no presents, Not even a tree. From a Poker-playing, horse lovn', hard drinkin' cow gal. To have a horse in your life is a gift. In the matter of a few short years, a horse can teach a girl courage, if she chooses to grab mane and hang on for dear life. Even the smallest of ponies is mightier than the tallest of girls. To conquer the fear of falling off, having one's toes crushed, or being publicly humiliated at a horse show is an admirable feat for any child. For that, we can be grateful. God Rides

I got a panicky e-mail from a friend the other day it said in part: Please pass this on! Important police warning. Very scary, now moving east....started in Manitoba, now in Saskatchewan, and moving west.... If you are driving after dark and you see a car without its head-lights on, do not flash your lights, do not blow your horn or make any signals to the driver of the other car.
