This Editorial from the National Post is so good – I’m going to reproduce it all here:   Much has been made of a recent Léger Marketing poll regarding racism in Canada. The poll, conducted on behalf of the Association for Canadian Studies and the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, reports that 68% of Canadians have heard a racist comment over the past year, while 31% of Canadians have witnessed a racist act. Predictably, the federal government was called upon to spare no expense curing this social ill. We are skeptical of polls commissioned by agencies with a vested interest in the result: It is important to remember that the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, like the larger human-rights industry of which it is part, justifies its existence on the dubious claim that racism is widespread in Canada. More than 5,000 years ago, Moses said to the Children of Israel, “Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land”. About 75 years ago, Roosevelt said “ Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, light up your Camels, this IS this the Promised Land”. Now Obama has stolen your shovels, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels, and mortgaged the Promised Land. Furthermore, I was so depressed last night, thinking about Health Care plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, social security, etc., I called Lifeline, the suicide help line. I got a freakin’ call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal. They were all excited. They asked if I could drive a truck.

The New York Daily News is reporting that CafePress is noting that sales of items with the image of former President George W. Bush and the caption "Miss Me Yet?" have started to spike, while sales of those touting President Obama have collapsed.
