The New Cole's Notes and the Sunday Review
The Sunday Review February
In the beginning, There were the words and the pictures; now, I'm working on something more advanced.
Getting the Sunday Journalist online
In 1992, while working at TELUS, I launched a newsletter called “Cole’s Notes,” which evolved into my first blog. You're viewing it here on Blogger.
You can check it out at colecoop@blogspot.com, where you'll find a comments section, various articles, and some of my writings.
Now, I'm working on moving this into my life full-time and setting to do this as a side gig. I've been doing this as a volunteer for other places - but I'm also seeing that I need to move from free and unpaid writing and start getting this set up to be a small publisher.
This Substack is part of my journey to becoming a publisher. Just a note: The title “View from the Plateau” on both Substack and the blog is a placeholder for upcoming publications. If you search for Cole’s Notes, be aware that it may redirect to Indigo's COLES NOTES, with which I am not affiliated.

-30-
Cole's Note: What is this -30- thing? I trained in the last century as a newspaper journalist and always used the -30- to indicate the end of a draft. In an age where the computer has these infinite pages to scroll down - it seems a good idea to mark the end of a long story.
Below the fold
In the old newspaper days, these were stories that deserved page one, but they were less intense. For my first, below the fold, I'm attaching the Video of the Week.
.
I've been following Jordan Peterson for a while now, and since my recent upgrades to Cole's Notes, I'm going to start offering some relevant videos. Here is the First one from YouTube.
