Cole’s Notes & Substack: Something New Is in the Ink “Never pick a fight with people who buy ink by the barrel.” That was the old rule of the press. The Moon Under Water by George Orwell Evening Standard, 9 February 1946 My favourite public-house, the Moon Under Water, is only two minutes from a bus stop, but it is on a side-street, and drunks and rowdies never seem to find their way there, even on Saturday nights. I receive many misaddressed emails, and it can take some time to sort through them all and ensure I'm responding to the right person. However, I'm committed to doing my best to reply to every email quickly. To help alleviate this issue, please re-address all emails to my new email address associat...
